Explore Slip Sand Delta
This river delta flows freely from Mournglen to the channel to the north. The sand here is loose and soft underfoot, leading to the area's name. Though this area doesn't really boast salmon or trout, it is still a common place for fish and water birds. A variety of water-loving plants and animals are found in the area. The area can become quite dangerous during heavy rain as the river swells and currents quicken. Even in calmer water, the rapids can pose a real risk for small or young animals. | ||
