| Jutting off from the edges of Ember Reach is a small collection of islands that form a bustling archipelago. Life is abundant here, fed by the ocean. Life is possible here for those who know how to traverse a desert, and sources of water can be found in surprising places. The islands, in particular, host a variety of tidal pools. Though, whether the pools are safe to drink is something one should second guess. A high tide can ruin the pools until the next rain, which is rare in this area. At the very least, the sun is gentler here than in the deeper sands of the Reach, making the archipelago both a welcoming and challenging place to pause. | ||
