Rodent Boom
Rodents of various types have begun to increase in numbers across the greater region. Emboldened by the cooler temperatures and virulent conditions, they are now active in every biome and at all hours. Their presence begins with scattered sightings and quickly builds into rolling waves of motion; scouring tall grass, squeaking and chittering through the night, nesting in long-abandoned dens, and even raiding food and herb caches.
What was once a plentiful snack has become a plague of vermin.
