Ember Reach
| This swath of red desert is known as Ember Reach, named for the blistering heat of its sands and the faint, charred remnants of ancient forests scattered across the land. The terrain here shifts between rolling dunes, scorched stones, and desert flora that clings stubbornly to life. Fresh water is, in fact, said to exist here, somewhere. Though only those with true patience might have luck enough to find it. By day, the sand is nearly unbearable beneath the feet of travelers. When night falls, however, the desert awakens as the air cools and a large variety of animals stir. | ||
