Characters are given one Astral Favor, a cosmic resonance revealed through a quiz taken from their profile. Each favor is unique and works similarly to a real-life horoscope by describing, in a nutshell, how the character thinks or acts. Essentially, their moral fiber. While this aligns strongly with our alignment systems (lawful good, chaotic neutral, true evil, etc), it is not a perfect match and isn't meant to be. Rather, astral favors are meant for fun.

Each astral favor is based on a constellation in the sky and wolves may be aware of them and even reference them if they'd like. While they are based on constellations, astral favors are not exactly based on the position of stars like real-world sun signs. Instead, how a wolf innately behaves is said to link to the constellation - when they were born is irrelevant.

• Hooved: Seen as noble, protective, and a guardian of order and the vulnerable. These individuals tend to help others, follow tradition, and ask for little for themselves. They are often altruistic in nature.
• Rooted: Typically strong, steady, and kind, like the roots of a tree buried deep. They are grounded and act in kind ways. They stand for the greater good even if they are not bound by strict codes. Laws are important, but so is one's identity. They are not easily shaken.
• Kindled: These individuals are passionate and free. They can have a temper, sure, but overall they are not bound to specific guidelines. They may break the rules to protect others, challenge justice, or be destructive if they are not held in check. That isn't to say that they are dangerous - only that they may hold little regard for the results of their actions.
• Unwavering: Wolves with this favor are steadfast and impartial. They are hard to move and often appear stoic, structured, ritualistic, and law abiding. They do not take a specific moral stance but wherever they stand, they cannot be shaken from it. They are loyal and unerring in their decisions.
• Unfurling: Somehow a rarer favor, these wolves are balanced and adaptable. They go with the natural flow of life and act in harmony with what is needed or expected. This gives them a very laid back attitude with nearly any obstacle, and they often provide a safe place for others to be themselves.
• Unbound: More wild than the other favors, these individuals are wild and untamed. They hold no bonds and live life on a whim. They react on instinct and emotion first and go from one moment to the next without any specific pull. They are loyal only to their freedom and desires.
• Barbed: Beautiful and dangerous individuals. They are prone to manipulating others to gain control and suppress rivals. They can be tactical and clever and may twist laws to serve personal goals. Some are reserved, quiet and calculating. Control is more paramount than allies or friendships.
• Hollowed: Individuals who are self-serving and cunning. Greedy. They exploit weakness for survival and prefer to work alone or in small alliances. They take from the world what they can and often act in any way that benefits themselves or those close to them, rather than acting for the greater good.
• Withered: Chaotic, spreading chaos for its own sake. They may disregard consequence and sow decay. They are destructive at heart, and can be corrupting in this behavior. There is often little regard for themselves or others as they feed on the unpredictable energy of life.
• Veiled: (None or Undefined) The veiled are unique among the other favors. They tend to lack strong conviction, ambition, or conflict. Or, their morals are so blended as to be ambiguous. They exist as they are and expect little from others or themselves. They are a free spirit in the truest sense - moving without fixed direction and usually uninfluenced by others.
